We Really Enjoy Vietnam
We really enjoy Vietnam. The peoples, their kindness and their contagious smile are so refreshing. They go out of the way to help you and make sure you are ok wherever you are headed to. Your safety as a tourist, I notice, is very important. It has been such a beautiful journey to be here and visit.
Therefore, I want to share more special moments that we had while in Ho Chi Minh City. Just a few pictures of a fantastic time spent relaxing, reflecting and enjoying our surroundings.
Vietnam is one of the countries to which the Bodhi is native, and they can be found across the nation. The Bodhi is extraordinarily long-lived, sometimes exceeding 2,000 years. Little spirit houses are sometimes placed at the base of the trunk or in the canopy of the Bodhi Tree.
Old and new sidewalk and lots of trees.
It rains often therefore beautiful flower decoration are gracing alongside many street sidewalks.
Street vendor ready to sell you lunch.
Shrimps of all sizes and all of all heat levels.
Roasted pig.
Dried fruits of all sorts. So sweet and yummy.
Shellfish and crustaceous of all sorts are staples for everyday cooking.
Someone is trying to escape from their imminent faith.
Is your phone down?
French Palais de Justice.
The Reunification Palace as it stands today was built during 1960. Symbolic site of the liberation of Saigon communist forces that reunited the nation on April 30, 1975.
Pagoda.
Mushroom Park.
I love this old cement posts. To me is a reminder of a by gone era. French influence is very prominent as you will find the same block posts and railing in any cities in France.
Branch growing out from a crack in the wall.
Bird house. We noticed lots of them throughout the city parks.
Me completely drenched walking in the rain and loving every minute of it.
As you can see we really enjoy Vietnam. Until next time…
